Further, calling me 'ornery' is an ad hominem attack and belittles me much more than my post telling jsilvers to read the article before commenting on it.

    I'm done arguing with you.
Fair enough -- sorry for calling you ornery. That's definitely how you came across, but I guess that might not have been your intention.

I'm not really sure what it hurts to draw the conclusion that Jsilvers and I did, considering that most of us hope/assume it will come out in April anyways.

Anyway, it's a silly argument that I'm happy to set aside.
Yeah, I apologize. I didn't mean my comment to be an attack toward jsilvers, or the subsequent ones to be toward you.

Let's get back to N1 discussion.

Which is better, the N1 or incredible? I know the Incre has a 8.0MP camera, but that doesn't matter for me.

Personally, I think AESTHETICALLY, the N1 is muchhh more sleek and nice looking compared to the incredible. If I were to design a phone myself, the N1 would be extremely close. I can't wait to get the N1! The camera also does not matter to me. All I look forward to is this thing in my hands. So again, I like the N1 over the incredible.

It's hard to say which is better. I agree though, the camera isn't a big deal to me either. I rarely take pictures with my phone.

Looks-wise, it's all N1 -- IMO the incredible is ugly. Mostly the back. Also, I don't like the idea of the underclocked processor.

The one thing that I do like about the Incredible is the rumored 6GB (or is it 8?) on-board memory. That provides a solution to the limited app storage without rooting the phone.

I gotta tell you... that camera on the N1 is amazing... the best cam out there because of the 5MP, but also very importantly, the shot to shot speed... the inc may have an 8mp camera, but nobody knows how long it takes to get from shot to shot. that's really important to me because I have an 8 month old niece who moves a lot... and I don't want to miss a good shot because of a slow camera.

not to mention the nexus one has one of the largest hacking communities. if you root it there's pretty much nothing you can't do.

You are correct -- Cyanogen does come with apps2sd. Google is also working on a solution that will allow app storage on the SD card. Hopefully it will be a feature of the next Android OS. That way you get SD app storage without having to root the phone (if that's not your thing...)
