could be a good sign. still though- I was SO hyped that it was going to land on the 23rd, and obviously became very disappointed. since then I have been trying to keep in mind that neither Google or VZW have said anything about a release other than it will be Spring 2010. that's it. however I do still have hope that it's sooner rather than later.

i don't mind that much. now there's supposedly a surprise and fixed all the little bugs. we know it's coming soon and i think the wait is worth it. i'm sick of waiting but know it's for a reason and i rather wait then the phone have bugs with vzw network b/c they said they'll release it as soon as it's ready.

The more and more I look at the Evo 4G the more I want it. I went to radio shack and looked at the HD2 (same screen size) and it looks awesome. I can imagine android on that screen. It didnt feel to big ether. I put it in my pocket and the only thin I felt was that dumb security cord attachment. If there were any plans to release something like that for Verizon by june I might hold my money till then.

you have to realize that by the time it releases in the summer for sprint it will have android 2.1. a major os update is due for the first half of 2010 which is around that time that the nexus one will get. it's a lot thicker also then the hd2 although not that thick as the hd2 is so thin for its size. the evo 4g looks like the incredible but bigger with more impressive specs. like i said before it looks like every other phone out there. the only unique looking phones are the nexus one and the desire out of the android superphones. the droid is too but it's ugly i think. you should hold off for the samsung galaxy s. it has a 4 inch screen, like 10 mm thick (n1 is like 12mm) and is possibly coming to all us carriers by summer. it has a super AMOLED screen too. i'm still waiting for the nexus one. sorry for such a long post

but if you waited until the nexus one was out the droid might have only sold for around 200$-250$ so you got a good deal. and when you get your nexus one you will appreciate it that much more coming from a normal phone.

I'm losing hope for March 31/April 1 release date...

Just recieved an e-mail from Google saying the typical:

"Unfortunately, I do not have information on our future releases and the
time frame when the Verizon compatible Nexus One phone will be released.

As our webstore says, the Nexus One phone should be available with Verizon
wireless network in Spring 2010 in the US."

That probably means it's not anytime soon... unless it's gonna be a surprise.

why would they tell you that it's almost out but not anybody else? they have to give you that annoying answer they aren't going to give only you inside information. don't worry it will be here soon.

yeah that is just a very typical response from somebody who's not allowed to give out release information. doesn't mean in any way that a release is far away, they simply can't give you that information. if it were that easy, i think we'd already have our answers.
