I agree. I really want to throw my storm into a fire or smash it with a hammer. It barely functions anymore and i fear the N1 wont be out til the end of the month... Here's to hoping...

The new Snapdragon coming out is a smaller die shrink right, basically will enable higher clock speeds etc??

another thing to consider too...at least for me, i wouldn't root the n1, so getting quick updates from google would be nice. the downside of the incredible is its sense overlay resulting in slower updates, however i would root the incredible the second it is possible, therefore negating the need for googles ota updates with being able to flash custom roms; with verizon backing the incredible and the guaranteed ability to have asurion, i would have no fears in rooting

the more and more i think about it, i may end up with the incredible, espcially price wise. the only things turning me away from it are sense (which can be dealt with) and its overall style/looks, which i hope will grow on me...

thats possible. smaller die usually means less heat and less power consumption. so therefore you can keep the same clock and increase battery life/efficiency, or they can increase the clock making it faster but at the same time not make any drastic improvements on battery life/efficiency...just my 2-cents, i am by no means a processor expert

I'm not sure how much support you'd get from Verizon once you've voided your warranty by rooting.

It's probably going to be $200 at launch subsidized with rebates.

As for the processor, im pretty sure the new Snapdragon is going to be 1.3ghz from what i hear........either way, the smaller die shrink will allow higher overclocks but i wonder how high.

You can put it back to stock and Verizon would never know. Unlike the Nexus One, where once you root it, it shows and they can see that you've rooted it.
