Why don't people go the easy way and copy-paste the commands?
oh well, please copy and paste this command:
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
make SURE there is a space between "mtdblock3" and "/system"

Very good tuto !
Just a comment on the radio update:
All MD5sum give me a red cross in hashtab.
Is it normal ?
Do I need to find another radio.img file ?

I'll try to look into it, I might have modified the files and forgotten to update the site...
Though, I'll see that after my exams are done, so bump me after the 27th

Gravufo:
I was trying to perform the procedure you provided to flash to Google's ROM, but the first link (Android SDK) returned this message:
"404. That’s an error.
The requested URL /android/android-sdk_r08-windows.zip was not found on this server. That’s all we know."
Did you remove it? Is there somewhere else I can get this?
Thanks,

help with part two of tuto
the tutorial has been working great so far but ive hit a snag. once i get to part two (im in recovery node-3e if that helps) i only have 4 options and nand backup isnt one of them. i have reboot system, apply sd card update.zip, wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache. i sent you an email but i dont know which is better. im guessing the forum is the best place to get a lot of info. thanks. yeah i also cant find toggle ms-usb and clicking vol down and vol up simply does the same as the trackball.
EDIT: IM SUCH AN IDIOT TO ASK FOR HELP SO SOON.my son came in and was messing around (hes 3) near my pc and i missed one of your instructions "flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img" and press Enter". so sorry i will continue an see how it goes.
EDIT@: wow, im such an idiot. the kid distracted me and that single step got me so worried. i now see the menu (withthe carebear) i will give further update later. sorry for being a pain.
FINAL EDIT: WOW, what a great tutorial. it worked great. i am now updating to 2.3.4 and i must say to be very careful and follow step by step. the english translation is a bit of in a couple places but common sense helps a lot. if you would like me to add/edit a few words here and there for the english version i"d be more than happy to. thanks a lot, wow i hesitated for almost a month before going for it, happy i did!!!
