It will work anywhere...It's factory unlocked.

Though, the only carrier with whom the 3G will at full speed is T-Mobile.

With the other's, you'll only get Edge speeds

    Thanks Gravufo,
I just want to make sure, I don't want to waste my hard earn money to find it doesn't work (times are getting harder). I just want to know, has anyone from Videotron, use there Nexus One with example carrier T-mobile sims card.
Since I'm on this topic, I guess I would also need to manual add the APN

Example For T-Mobile, would I need to do this....

    Name: T-Mobile US
    APN: epc.tmobile.com
    Proxy: 216.155.165.050
    Port: 8080
    Username: (leave this blank)
    Password: (leave this blank)
    Server: (leave this blank)
    MMSC: http://mms.msg.english.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
    MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50
    MMS Port: 8080
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0 (don't know if this is important)
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 260
    APN Type: (leave this blank)

    Thanks

I haven't used the phone in the states, but I have used it with Fido and Rogers SIMs with no issue whatsoever.

As for the APN with T-Mobile, it should already be included in the Android system, but if it isn't, you would simply have to add it and activate it by clicking on the green radio button!

    It's as simple as that.

BTW, if you don't have the phone yet, I highly suggest the Nexus S which is also unlocked and is newer and better.

Anyways, good luck and have fun

gravufo when you put the phone on Fido and Rogers did you have 3G speed or did you have edge? I'm just wondering so I can find out what version of nexus one videotron use.

when I get on partner rogers, I only have edge. I think it has to do with different apn settings on carriers ?

sorry, let me rephrase that. when i get out of videotron coverage I get auto switch to partner rogers but I only get edge. The reason I dont get 3G is maybe cuz they dont use the same apn settings ?

Oh ok thanks for rephrasing and I would say no since it is a partner I would think that the apn settings would either work fine or would change on there own but I may be wrong.
