I just received 2.3.4

This is a discussion on I just received 2.3.4 within the Vidéotron forums, part of the Android Phone Carriers category; seems that the only modification is video chat...unuseful for N1 I think...cuz of no 2 camera......

    I just received 2.3.4

    it appear on the status bar on top...it restart the phone, install then I'm like this

    how about going on settings, about phone, system update...maybe you will force the update.

    I don't wasn't the update, I want the link... xD

    I may give it a try, but I suspect it's just rolling out to a select few.

    sorry then...anyway cuz of no camera on both side this update is unuseful for N1

    They said there were still some major bugfixes which i suspect are for the battery problems.

    I wish they'd have implemented video with the back camera anyways...i mean, it's a tech phone anyways, who cares? >_>

    Hopefully, our friends at Cyanogen can get it to work somehow, if Gtalk is open-source (is it?)

    How to snag it when a system update shows up? Is rooting required?

    Install alogcat or a logcat logger from the market and then do a checkin (call *#*#2432546#*#*) then filter the logcat (Menu - Filter from within alogcat) and search for http or .zip [/QUOTE]
